SUMMARY:
Our client is a reputable Chartered Accountants Incorporated and Registered Auditor firm based in Pretoria East. They are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled individual to assist with an audit assignment on a contract basis.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Transaction Testing: Perform transaction testing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Recalculating Invoices and Reconciliations: Recalculate invoices and financial reconciliations to ensure correctness.
Data Capturing: Accurately capture and record data on Excel for analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

Technical Competence: Must be familiar with audit-related tasks and transaction testing.
Experience: Previous experience in accounting and auditing is highly desirable.
Excel Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Audit Experience: Audit experience will be considered an advantage.
Driver’s License & Own Transport: A valid driver’s license and own reliable transport are required. You will need to travel and sleep out for at least 6 weeks, with reimbursement for transport expenses.
Team-Oriented: Must be able to work effectively within a team and contribute to a collaborative working environment.

Additional Information:

The position requires a proactive individual who can handle the responsibilities of transaction testing and data management with minimal supervision.
Applicants must be flexible regarding travel, as the role will require frequent trips for a duration of up to a week at a time.
