• Facilitate the learning, teaching, and assessment processes in the faculty.
• Participate in academic engagement.
• Participate in faculty administration.
• Engage in scholarly work.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Facilitation of teaching, learning and assessment.
• Teach Theories of Education to undergraduate students.
  • Have a sound knowledge of teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
• Teach Theories of Education to a diverse cohort of undergraduate students.
• Should be able to develop curriculum.
• Engage in scholarly work with an increasing focus on Africanization and Decolonization of the Theories of Education.

REQUIREMENTS

• A relevant Honours degree and an academic teaching qualification.
• A two-year experience of teaching at a university.
• Sound disciplinary and content knowledge in Theories of and Issues in Education.
• Sound knowledge and experiences of different approaches and strategies for engaging students in Theories of and Issues in Education.
