SUMMARY:
Are you a qualified Attorney with at least three years of post-articles experience in collections, particularly in Home Loans?

Our client, based in Cape Town City Centre, is seeking an Associate Attorney with in-depth knowledge of the National Credit Act.

The Right of Appearance is a mandatory requirement for this role.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience
Extensive experience in Collections, with emphasis on Home Loans.
Advanced knowledge of the National Credit Act
Proven team leader skills
Own vehicle and driver’s license.

DUTIES

Ensure compliance with the South African National Credit Act (NCA)
Liaise with clients
Check drafted letters of demand, summonses, notices and applications
Manage staff
Brief counsel and attend court where necessary
Right of Appearance is compulsory

Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience
