SUMMARY:
Elegant and Intimate Safari Lodge is looking for an ASSISTANT LODGE MANAGER / MAINTENANCE MANAGER

POSITION INFO:
Candidate requirements;

Relevant tertiary education in Hospitality
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a manager in a 4-star or 5-star camp
Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences
Must have exceptional hosting skills and be guest-centric
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage staff and different departments
Must be able to assist in all areas of camp management
Should have good computer and administration skills
Regularly inspect buildings, grounds, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement
Assist, repair, and maintenance work on buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, appliances, and other equipment to maintain the operational functionality of the lodge
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards in all maintenance activities
Stock control and reports
Valid Driver’s License and PDP required
