SUMMARY:
Exciting opportunity for an Assistant Company Secretary looking for growth! A well-known Agricultural company based in Pretoria is looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join their team and grow into the Company Secretary within the next 2 - 3 years.

This position involves providing secretarial and governance support within a group of entities.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Relevant legal qualification with 3 - 5 years practical experience
Proficient in Afrikaans and English with extensive minute-taking and business writing skills.
Dictaphone typing experience and strong organizational abilities.
Driver's license and willingness to travel.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office programs; Adobe Bookmark system experience preferred.

Main Accountabilities, but not limited to:

Provide secretariat support for meetings, including preparing minutes, agendas, and decision registers.
Assist in trustee and director appointments and liaise with service providers for annual reports.
Support governance activities such as reviewing and updating policies and maintaining interest registers.
Assist in preparing agendas, rules, and voting protocols for congress meetings.
Coordinate funding applications, maintain registers, and handle internal communications for projects and trusts.
