A leading industrial company is seeking a qualified Rigger to join its dynamic engineering services team in Mbombela. This role offers a fast-paced and challenging environment where you will be responsible for safely executing rigging and lifting operations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring equipment uptime and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform rigging and lifting activities safely and efficiently
- Conduct risk assessments and obtain necessary permits
- Maintain and inspect lifting equipment, cranes, and HIABs
- Provide feedback on maintenance and operational improvements
- Prioritize lifting activities to support production requirements
Requirements:
- N3/Matric with Maths & Science
- Trade Certification (Qualified Rigger)
- Overhead Crane & HIAB Certification
- Code 10 Driver’s License
- 3-4 years’ post-qualification experience in rigging
