POSITION INFO:

A leading producer in the metals industry is seeking a skilled Artisan Fitter to join their dynamic team in Mbombela (Nelspruit, Mpumalanga). This role is essential in maintaining and repairing critical equipment to ensure seamless operations in a 24/7 industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation work.
• Overhaul pumps, gearboxes, and machine components.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete job cards and capture maintenance history.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and required improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

• N3/Matric with Maths & Science
• Trade Test Certification (Fitter/Fitter & Turner)
• 3-4 years’ post-trade experience
• Basic computer literacy
• Code 8 Driver’s License
• Willingness to travel locally and be on standby when required
