A leading producer in the metals industry is seeking a skilled Artisan Fitter to join their dynamic team in Mbombela (Nelspruit, Mpumalanga). This role is essential in maintaining and repairing critical equipment to ensure seamless operations in a 24/7 industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation work.
- Overhaul pumps, gearboxes, and machine components.
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment.
- Complete job cards and capture maintenance history.
- Provide feedback on equipment performance and required improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
- N3/Matric with Maths & Science
- Trade Test Certification (Fitter/Fitter & Turner)
- 3-4 years’ post-trade experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Code 8 Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel locally and be on standby when required
