An opportunity for an experienced ARMATURE TEST TECHNICIAN (with FOREMAN / SUPERVISOR experience) is required for permanent employment based in Northern KZN.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage complete workshop, stores, and planning dept.
- Have knowledge of Armature Winding and Mechanical experience
- Have knowledge of test bay for AC and DC motors
- Have knowledge of test bay for assessing motors
- Monitor and control all workshop processing in conjunction with Quality Control
- Knowledge of costing
- Flame proof experience will be advantageous.
- Warranty assessment and inspection
- Liaising with customers
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Red Seal : Trade Test (Armature Winder) Technician
- Min 20 years experience (Senior role)
- Armature environment Foreman / Supervisory exp. req.
- MS Office Computer literate
- Drivers licence
- People skills
- Traceable / Contactable references
