Job Title: Application Engineer (Mechanical or Process Engineer) - PUMP INDUSTRY

Location: Head Office in Centurion, with frequent travel across Africa

Role Overview:

As an Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales representatives with all technical aspects related to the company's products. Your primary focus will be on delivering effective pump system solutions, providing technical support, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Assistance: Aid in the selection and specification of pumps to meet customer requirements.

Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports and proposals for clients.

Client Guidance: Offer expert advice to clients on the most suitable products for their needs.

Support & Consultation: Provide first-line technical support for pump applications and consult on system-related issues.

On-Site Support: Assist with the commissioning of products and perform on-site system analysis and fault-finding.

Reporting: Compile detailed reports with solutions and root cause analysis based on system analysis.

Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Sales representatives to present and discuss proposed solutions with clients.

Customer Service: Consistently meet or exceed established Customer Support standards.

Ideal Candidate:

Educational Background: Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in engineering (Mechanical or process engineer)

Experience: Experience in technical support or application engineering, preferably with a focus on pump systems advantageous

1-2 years Exp

Salary + benefits:

R18 000 - R20 000
