SUMMARY:
Our client is a global leader in consulting, engineering, and project delivery, specializing in the energy, mining, oil and gas, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

They are seeking an Application Specialist to maintain and implement the company’s preferred engineering systems and workflows. This role will also involve providing technical application support to the engineering and design teams.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements of the role:

Duties:

Install, configure, and ensure correct settings for engineering and design applications on user machines.
Provide technical guidance and user support for engineering and design applications.
Collaborate with Engineering Systems Specialists to develop and maintain system standards and libraries.
Contribute to the strategic development of engineering systems and related applications.
Drive continuous improvement, extract material take-offs, and generate daily Navisworks 3D models.

Experience & Qualifications:

Engineering qualification in Process, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Design/CAD experience is advantageous.
Programming experience (e.g., VBA, C#, SQL) is beneficial.
Strong computer skills, with knowledge of CAD applications, relational databases, and spreadsheets.
Experience with the AVEVA suite, Microsoft Windows, and networking environments, along with an understanding of integrated design systems and engineering information flow.
