SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking to make a significant impact in the agricultural sector? Our client, a leader in livestock management, breeding schemes and laboratory services is seeking an experienced Animal Health Technician to join their dedicated team in Bloemfontein.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Support the health, care, and handling of livestock with a focus on cattle at the embryo station.
Oversee biosecurity protocols, maintenance, and cleanliness of the site.
Assist with embryo flushing, transfer, artificial insemination, and ovum pick-up.
Monitor and update feeding schedules to align with production needs.
Conduct herd health testing and support veterinarians with fieldwork.
Manage and transport genetic materials, ensuring quality and compliance.
Maintain comprehensive records and provide detailed reports to clients and supervisors.

Qualifications:

BSc in Animal Health or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Strong understanding of animal health care and biosecurity practices.
