Advisor: Financial Compliance & Reporting

POSITION INFO:
Are you a CA(SA) with a passion for financial compliance and reporting? This is your chance to join a leading organization in the energy sector, providing advisory services, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance support at a group level.

Key Responsibilities:

â Assist in preparing Annual Financial Statements and Consolidations in line with IFRS using Caseware.
â Ensure compliance with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, and the Companies Act.
â Consolidate and review monthly compliance reports and financial reports for executive committees.
â Prepare financial reports for National Treasury and the Department of Energy and Electricity (DEE).
â Advise on VAT matters to optimize financial efficiencies.
â Assist in managing monthly financial reconciliations and liaise with external auditors.

What You Need to Succeed:

â Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
â Minimum two years of post-articles experience in financial reporting and compliance.
â Strong knowledge of IFRS, PFMA, and the Companies Act.
â Proficiency in Caseware, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting systems.
â Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
