POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with transporters and clients.
Keeping clients informed regarding the status of cargo.
Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA.
Communication with suppliers and loading points.
Handle everyday logistical challenges.
Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery.
Updating system from loaded to delivered.
Sending of load cons.
Daily admin functions.
Adding new transporters and updating insurance.
Invoicing
6-month Reconciliations.
Opening and sending of contracts and collection of signed contracts.
Collecting POD's.
Supplier payments.
Loading of transport invoices.

Experience & Qualifications:

At least 2 -3 years of experience in a logistics role.
Matric qualification.
A degree will be beneficial.

Competencies:

Analytical.
Excellent Excel skills.
Excellent customer service.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Fully bilingual with excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently.

Remuneration:

Industry-related basic salary dependent on experience.
Company pension fund contribution.
