Are you an experienced actuary with a passion for pricing strategy in the short-term insurance sector? We are looking for a Senior Actuarial Specialist to join our high-performing Short-Term Pricing team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to develop, implement, and refine pricing models that drive business growth and ensure competitive edge in a fast-evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pricing analysis and model development for short-term insurance products, ensuring they align with company objectives and market conditions.
• Provide expert actuarial advice to stakeholders on pricing, underwriting, and product development strategies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, risk management, and sales, to develop and optimize pricing structures.
• Monitor and report on the performance of pricing strategies, adjusting as necessary to achieve profitability targets.
• Contribute to the development of pricing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior actuaries and analysts, sharing your knowledge and helping to develop their skills.

• Good exam progression with a strong background in short-term insurance pricing and actuarial modelling.
• Proven experience in the use of actuarial software, statistical analysis, and pricing techniques (e.g., GLMs, predictive modelling).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in leadership or mentoring roles is a plus.
