SUMMARY:
The Life consulting team is expanding and currently has a vacancy for a Senior Actuarial Executive. The team engages with clients in 22 countries across Africa. The primary responsibilities of the role will be in running various actuarial consulting & statutory appointed related projects, i.e. statutory appointed related projects, and managing staff in the Life team.

POSITION INFO:

Assist senior managers where necessary
Reserving / statutory valuations / SAM Pillar I
Product pricing and design
Capital modelling & Asset Liability Modelling
Support the Head of Actuarial Function / Appointed Actuary
Reinsurance reviews
Draft reports and communications
Support the consulting actuary
Perform market studies and research
Embedded Value (EV) reporting
Analysis of Surplus / Analysis of EV
ORSAs (Own Risk & Solvency Assessment)
FCRs (Financial Condition Reports)
IFRS 17 Implementation, support and reviews
Adhere to professional standards & ethical practice
Train and mentor junior staff
Managing clients and assignments
Completing tenders and proposals
