POSITION INFO:
Role and Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting – Analyze key actuarial metrics, including mortality, morbidity, claims loss ratios, and lapse rates.
Pricing & Product Development – Develop and refine competitive insurance products while ensuring profitability and compliance.
Risk Management – Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and underwriting evaluations to assess and mitigate risk.
Regulatory Compliance – Ensure adherence to actuarial standards and regulatory requirements, including preparing statutory reports.
Experience Studies & Assumptions Setting – Analyze historical data to enhance pricing, reserving, and risk management strategies.
Collaboration & Communication – Work closely with underwriting, finance, and product development teams, presenting risk insights to senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
Progress towards actuarial qualification (7+ exams)
3-5 years actuarial experience
Exposure to both life and non-life insurance (advantageous)
Experience in pricing & product development
