SUMMARY:

Our client based in the Insurance Industry based in Woodmead is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to make use of mathematical and statistical techniques to identify, evaluate and manage risk within the organisation

POSITION INFO:
The primary framework of your position is as follows:

Analyzing data and making predictions about future events in order to inform business decisions.
Research and development of interventions and providing guidance and support to the Executives.

Key perfomance areas:

Corporate Actuarial with a focus on:
SAM/Solvency II
IFRS 4
IFRS 17
Valuation of the microinsurance business ensuring compliance and competitiveness
Embedded Value
Internal Capital Model
Actuarial Strategy
FP & A
New Business Onboarding
Data Warehouse
Automation of processes
Actuarial Pricing
Apply data manipulation techniques using software tools to cleanse and transform raw data into usable formats and analysis.
Conduct experience investigations to analyse and interpret insurance data, claims data policies, and exposure information, to provide insights into the company’s historical performance and future trends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Actuarial Science, or related field

Experience

SQL experience for data extraction and analysis
0-2 years’ experience in related field
