Actuarial Analyst

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to join our Analytics Department. In this role, you will support the design and implementation of internal capital models, perform data analysis, ensure accurate reporting for statutory returns (QRT/SAM), and provide insights to management and clients. You will work closely with various departments, ensuring the adequacy of pricing, technical provisions, and capital models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement internal capital models.
• Calculate technical provisions, premium pipelines, and loss estimates.
• Extract and analyze data for continuous maintenance of capital models.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to capital models.
• Provide management with data-driven insights and evaluations.
• Monitor risk exposures and assist with catastrophe modeling.
• Analyze business portfolios and identify key drivers.
• Complete statutory returns (QRT/SAM) and prepare data for IFRS 17 and rating agencies.
• Provide analytics support and reports to clients.
• Prepare periodic reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual) on assigned areas.
• Respond to audit and technical inspection requests, implementing approved recommendations.
• Promote the company’s image in dealings with business partners.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in actuarial analysis or related fields.
• Knowledge of reserving, reinsurance, IFRS 17, and SAM regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in actuarial modeling software, Microsoft Office, and statistical tools.
• Understanding of financial reporting and risk management principles.
• Attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
