POSITION INFO:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a leading organisation in the RETAIL industry to recruit an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK to be based at their offices in ROODEKOP. R18000

OUR CLIENT IS ONE OF MANY LONG STANDING SUCCESSFUL SUBSIDIARIES UNDER A LARGE WELL KNOWN JSE LISTED ORGANISATION.

The Purpose of the position is to provide financial, administrative and Clerical services.

Applicants should have/be the following:

10 years prior debtors clerk experience

Experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk

Syspro experience

Occasionally work extra hours if required

Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations

Data entry skills

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

Computer literate in Syspro, MS Outlook and Excel

Possess strong work ethic, is punctual, reliable, and self-motivated

Excellent communication skills (Read, Write, Speak)

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations

Processing and monitoring incoming payments

Securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts

Full debtors function

Managing customer accounts and client communications including resolving queries

Regular and ad-hoc reports

Reconcile and allocate debtors, collections, statements

Remuneration:
