We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant with expertise in Xero. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up Xero for clients, providing comprehensive training, and offering ongoing support to ensure optimal use of the platform. Based in Port Elizabeth

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Xero Setup:
• Configure and customize Xero accounts for new clients.
• Migrate data from existing accounting systems to Xero.
• Ensure accurate setup of chart of accounts, bank feeds, and integrations.
• Training:
• Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions for clients on Xero functionalities.
• Develop training materials and user guides tailored to client needs.
• Provide ongoing education and updates on new Xero features and best practices.
• Support:
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting for Xero-related issues.
• Assist clients with reconciling transactions, generating reports, and managing payroll.
• Liaise with Xero support for complex issues and escalate as necessary.
• Client Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Understand client business processes and provide tailored accounting solutions.
• Regularly review client accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA(SA), SAIPA) preferred.
• Proven experience with Xero setup, training, and support.
• Strong understanding of South African accounting standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software.
