Accountant/ Senior Auditor:
A wonderful opportunity exists for a dynamic, passionate and driven financial person with a strong leaning to the Auditing. Our client is a dynamic business with branches in South Africa and the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Financial Record Examination: Reviewing financial records and transactions to ensure they are accurate and comply with laws and regulations.
• Data Entry: Entering and updating financial data into accounting software or databases.
• Report Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of audit reports by compiling and organizing financial information.
• Reconciliation: Reconciling discrepancies in financial records and ensuring that all accounts balance.
• Document Verification: Verifying the accuracy of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Compliance Checks: Ensuring that financial transactions adhere to company policies and government regulations.
• Record Maintenance: Keeping meticulous records of all financial transactions and audits for future reference.
• Document preparation and submission: Completing and submitting of all Financial statements and submission of tax returns
• Other adhoc duties to be explained during the interview process

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English, Afrikaans first language preferred
• Accounting Degree or similar qualifications will be advantageous
• Relevant audit experience
• Relevant tax experience
• Ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.
• Computer skills: Sage, Xero and Draftworx - advantageous
• MS Office Suite - intermediate Excel
• 5 years' experience within an accounting / audit firm
• Own Car essential
