What You’ll Be Doing:

• ✔ Financial Management & Reporting:
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports for property assets.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable processing, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for property expenses.
• ✔ Property Accounting & Compliance:
  • Ensure the accurate tracking of rental income, expenses, and property-related costs.
  • Assist with lease accounting, tenant billing, and financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with IFRS, VAT, and local tax regulations.
• ✔ Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Liaise with property managers, landlords, and tenants to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Work closely with the senior accounting team to support financial reporting processes.

• 🎓 Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2/3+ years of experience in property accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• 💡 Skills & Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MDA, MRI, Sage, or similar).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• ✨ Bonus Points For:
  • Experience in the real estate or property industry.
  • Knowledge of lease accounting and property management systems.
