SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant / Financial Manager to oversee the full financial function of a diverse operation, including two large farms and several Trusts. You will report directly to the Owner and be involved in ensuring the financial health of the business while working closely with a team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Manage financial reporting for the Trusts
Responsible for payroll processing for 100 employees
Utilize Pastel software for financial management and reporting.
Provide financial insights to the Owner to support strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in financial management, with a strong understanding of the agricultural sector and Trusts.
Relevant academic qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Strong experience with payroll management and accounting software, specifically Pastel.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
