Our client, a leading property management and real estate firm dedicated to providing exceptional service and innovative solutions in the property industry are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join their finance team as an Accountant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting their financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly statements and reports.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BCom Accounting)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite – Strong understanding and experience with MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy working environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience or internships in accounting or finance and/or the property industry is a plus.
