We are currently seeking a Professional Accountant to join this winning finance team. The ideal candidate will have completed SAICA articles and is looking to take the next step in their career. While AGA (SA) registration is not essential, it will be highly beneficial in strengthening the candidate’s profile. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your accounting skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

• Completed SAICA Articles (Essential)
• AGA (SA) registration would be an added advantage
• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, taxation, and accounting principles
• Solid knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in MS Excel (experience with systems like Sage, Xero, Pastel, or similar is advantageous)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards
• Ensure that all financial records are kept up to date, reconciling accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all local tax laws and regulations
• Assist in managing cash flow, budgets, and forecasting for the business
• Oversee the preparation of management reports and variance analysis
• Provide financial advice and insights to assist senior management in strategic decision-making
• Work closely with auditors during year-end audits and ensure all necessary documentation is provided for review
• Support the finance team with any other ad hoc accounting tasks and projects
