Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing Microfinance organization, is looking for a Senior Accountant to take charge of financial operations and drive excellence in a mission-driven environment. POSITION INFO:
As the Senior Accountant, you will oversee the full accounting function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. In addition, you will manage reconciliations, cash flow planning, and loan book accounting. Ensuring VAT, tax, and regulatory compliance within the financial services sector will be part of your day-to-day and you will develop and implement financial controls and best practices to support business growth. You will work closely with internal teams, including risk, credit, and operations, to optimize financial performance
Requirements:

BCom Accounting or Finance (Honours preferred)
3–5 years of experience in accounting
Financial services experience is a non-negotiable
Strong knowledge of VAT, tax compliance, and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software
