A fast-growing company in the telecom infrastructure sector is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join their team in the leafy southern suburbs of Cape Town. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development in a supportive and dynamic environment.

POSITION INFO:
Junior Accountant
Location: Cape Town, southern suburbs
Salary: R 300 000 – R 360 000 per annum

Role Overview:
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Bank reconciliations and day to day processing
Preparing and managing creditors and the full debtors function
Supporting the financial accounting function

Key Skills and Qualifications:

A BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Knowledge of financial legislation, accounting principles, and auditing standards.
Experience in Value-Added Tax (VAT) requirements.
Experience with the Xero Accounting Package is advantageous.
Knowledge of SimplePay is a plus.

Experience Required:

At least 2/3 years of experience in a similar role.

Additional Requirements:

Strong computer literacy, particularly in Excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
A willingness to learn and grow within the company.
