To coordinate the financial performance of the organisation to ensure financial sustainability, including payroll and other finance administration

BCom Accounting
Completed Articles

Work Experience (What kind of experience is needed in order to do this job?):

3-5 years of accounting, payroll, and VAT experience
Audit preparation and process experience

Job Related Knowledge (knowledge of systems, processes, regulations or law):

Knowledge of budgeting and procurement processes
Good understanding of the SA Economics
Knowledge of Trust Deed requirements
Knowledge of finance management packages and methodologies, e.g. ACCPAC / VIP
Payroll/ Caseware
Knowledge of PFMA, BBBEE
Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Companies Act, TAX law, and IFRS
Development sector and NGO knowledge and understanding
