SUMMARY:
A well-known chemical raw material company requires the above to manage large manufacturing key accounts within the chemical manufacturing industry.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements for the role:

A tertiary qualification in chemistry or chemical engineering is essential for the role.
The company is happy to look at training up a BSc chemistry or chemical engineering graduate with no work experience into this role.
The successful candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills is essential.
Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Managing a portfolio of large customers and projects within the homecare, mining, industrial chemical and related markets identifying customer needs.
Developing and implementing key account plans and strategies for customer needs.
Proactively sourcing information from the industry to gain an understanding of the processes and introducing new concepts and ideas to customers.
Establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with customers.
Ensuring timeous and correct delivery of chemical raw materials to manufacturing customers.
Coordinating customer and innovation projects and tracking smart process execution in cooperation with other departments.
Managing and delivering on technical queries with regard to a range of chemical raw materials.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
