- To coordinate and facilitate learning and teaching development activities on the George campus -

POSITION INFO:

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Ability to plan, develop and facilitate flexible learning opportunities pertaining to teaching and learning in Higher Education
• Ability to initiate and coordinate professional development programmes for staff at different levels
• Knowledge of the Higher Education context
• Experience of curriculum design and development in Higher Education
• Strong foundation in in computer applications and familiarity with technology-supported teaching and learning
• Proven research competency and interest in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Strong communication skills for official reporting and presentation

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be considered for appointment to this post, candidates must preferably possess an appropriate Master’s degree (e.g. in Education or Higher Education).

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Higher Education of which at least 3 must be in the field of academic development.
