My client is a leading IT solutions Provider, Specialising in AI & ML services, legacy system modernization, cloud solutions and specialized training programs.

This AWS Cloud Architect – Migration Specialist role offers a unique chance to lead the migration of on-prem infrastructure, apps and services to the cloud (AWS).

This supports the cloud transformation strategy through migration, operational excellence and adherence to best practices.

It involves:

• Plan, Design and Lead the Migration process.
• Assessing the current on-prem infrastructure and strategize how to migrate it.
• Defining and implementing Workflows, tools and methodologies.
• Risk Management
• Optimization of performance, scalability, and cost efficiency (Using AWS CloudWatch for reliability and security)
• Cloud Architecture Design using AWS Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) for solutioning.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership (Partner with business stakeholders and Lead the Migration Process).
  
  

• A Degree in Computer Science, Information systems / IT.
• Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect: Professional (required) and other relevant AWS certifications (preferred).

• +5 years of experience in AWS Cloud Architecture and Migrations.
• Experience in Leading end-to-end (Assessing, Planning and Execution) Migration projects.
• Strong understanding of how AWS Services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) are applied in Migration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
• AWS migration services (AWS Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service, and AWS Database Migration Service.)
• Orchestration and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
