POSITION INFO:

As a Cloud Data Solutions Architect and Engineer, you will design, build, and deliver transformative business solutions using modern data platforms. Your role involves integrating, storing, modelling, analysing, and reporting data while aligning solutions with business needs and optimizing trade-offs.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement cloud data solutions tailored to client needs using AWS.
• Develop cloud and data transformation strategies while optimizing FinOps considerations.
• Design and implement data modelling, ETL/ELT, data ingestion, validation, and quality processes.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS services such as Redshift, Sagemaker, Glue.
• Experience with DataOps, DevOps, and release management (JIRA, Confluence, ADO).
• Contribute to system design, feasibility studies, and proposals (RFPs, solution costs, schedules).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Informatics. Equivalent experience with relevant certifications is accepted.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, or related certifications in ML, analytics, or engineering preferred.
• 10+ years in data management, engineering, analytics, or BI, with 3-5 years in cloud transformation and FinOps.
• Experience as a Lead Solutions Architect, Lead Engineer, or Tech Lead.
• TOGAF, Agile, or hybrid Agile certification.
• 10+ years in a client-facing or management role with business development experience.
• Proven expertise in AWS/Azure data solutions
