ASSETS AUDITOR - MOVABLE ASSETS

SUMMARY:
AKHILE a Level 1 BBBEE Consulting Company that focusses on providing practical, innovative and sustainable solutions to the public sector, with a special focus on municipalities. We are looking for individuals to join our team as Assets Auditors on moveable assets in our Cape Town office on a one (1) month contract.

POSITION INFO:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Complete Training on system and processes to be followed on site;

Identification and capturing of movable assets (i.e. Furniture and Fittings, Computer Equipment, Office Machines, Vehicles, etc.

• Asset Descriptions;
• Asset Conditions;
• Asset Serial numbers/ Barcodes;
• Asset Conditions Etc;
• Printing, issuing and obtaining sign-off of asset inventory lists; and
• Any other related roles.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Attention to detail;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Willingness and ability to learn;
• Basic computer and android phone skills;
• Microsoft Excel (Optional); and
• Good interpersonal skills:
  • Verbal communication;
  • Observant;
  • Assertive; and
  • Teamwork.
• Proficiency in English language is required. Professional working proficiency in Afrikaans will be an added advantage.
• Preferably reside in and around the Stellenbosch Municipality/ areas.
  

  PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Approximately 1 month starting 15 January 2025.

  REMUNERATION:

  • A daily rate will be discussed in the interview.
