Senior AI Engineer – Drive Innovation with Cutting-Edge AI Solutions

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg

Are you passionate about AI and ready to take groundbreaking ideas from concept to production? We’re searching for a Senior AI Engineer to lead AI-driven R&D projects, develop advanced LLM-based solutions, and deploy intelligent systems that enhance business performance.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize AI/ML models for real-world applications
Develop LLM-powered agentic systems and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions
Create and implement recommendation engines and predictive analytics tools
Deploy AI solutions using Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes
Ensure AI models are scalable, efficient, and production-ready

Qualifications and Experience

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years’ experience in AI/ML development and deployment
Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL
Expertise in Langchain, Llama Index, Crew AI, and Langsmith
Strong background in Flask, FastAPI, and cloud-based deployments
