AA Accounts Payable Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client, a giant in their industry, seeks your Accounts Payable experience to manage vendor accounts, with emphasis on reconciliations, payments and queries.

POSITION INFO:
Minim Job Requirements:

• Matric (preferred with Accounting).
• Tertiary qualification or Certificate in Finance/Accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years’ creditors and accounting/reconciliations experience.
• Experience with processing large volumes of payments is preferred.
• Computer literacy on MS Office; SAP experience a strong advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to solve complex problems and understand and quickly learn new systems and processes.
• Planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Able to work well under pressure.

• Reconcile accounts payable.
• Prepare documents for data capture.
• Allocate expenses to general ledger/cost centre codes to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Submit supplier payments on SAP and FNB.
• Capture supplier invoices on SAP.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and post for payment.
• Collate creditors documents and prepare payments.
• Respond to, analyse and resolve supplier and other stakeholder queries & complaints
