6 Month FTC Contracts Manager (Nuclear industry), Cape Town, RNeg

• Legal/BSC Degree in Engineering/Construction
• Thorough Knowledge of contracts
• Background in construction or related field
• Proficiency in Ms Word, Excel, and Power point.

• 10 years’ experience in industrial/engineering projects, with commercial and management experience
• 5 years in Nuclear Industry will be advantageous
• Experience in nuclear power station Boiler and Environmental Business

Duties

• Manage communications, strictly according to the contract requirements
• Liaise with Quality Specialist as required for approval of suppliers to the nuclear department suppliers list
• Prepare Requests for Proposals / Quotations
• Manage subcontract/supplier agreements
• Monitoring of actual costs against budget and identifying focus areas
• Preparation of quotations
• Provide guidance and support to the project team
• Provide advice and recommendations to team members

Assist the Project Manager in managing the risk register
