5 X Senior Project Managers

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in banking and change management to lead and deliver complex projects in the banking sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of change programs, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and aligning with business objectives.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery within the banking and financial services domain, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and deliverables, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business units, compliance, etc.) to ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Conduct regular project status meetings, reporting to stakeholders, senior management, and external parties.
• Change Management:
• Drive organizational change efforts, focusing on process improvements, system enhancements, and culture shifts within the banking environment.
• Develop and execute change management strategies, including stakeholder communication plans, training programs, and user adoption plans.
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure smooth transitions during change initiatives, minimizing disruption to business operations.
• Evaluate and measure the success of change management initiatives, providing feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, regulatory bodies, vendors, and consultants.
• Effectively manage expectations and deliver regular progress reports to ensure transparency and alignment with business goals.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and business stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Risk and Compliance:
• Ensure all project deliverables comply with relevant banking regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Proactively identify potential risks associated with change initiatives and banking operations, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of project activities, including audits, to maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and ensure continuous improvement of project management and change management methodologies.
• Recommend process improvements, tools, and techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the banking environment.

• Experience:
• At least 7 - 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on banking, financial services, or related industries.
• Proven experience managing large, complex projects within a banking environment, particularly in areas such as digital transformation, regulatory changes, system implementations, or process improvements.
• Strong background in change management, including the development and execution of change strategies for organizational, system, or process changes.
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus..
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar.
• Knowledge of banking systems, financial regulations, and industry best practices is essential.
• Familiarity with process modelling and data analysis tools is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions in a complex regulatory environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
