We have a vacancy for a 4x4 Specialist with a vehicle dealership in KwaZulu-Natal.
Duties and Responsibilities: Advise customers on suitable 4x4 accessories, tyres, suspension kits, and upgrades based on their vehicle needs and usage; Conduct technical assessments of customer vehicles to recommend appropriate solutions; Perform fitment and oversee installations of 4x4 components, ensuring high-quality workmanship; Stay updated with the latest 4x4 trends, products, and technologies in the market; Attend and represent the company at off-road events, expos, and brand activations; Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients; Provide excellent after-sales service and technical support to clients; Assist the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets; Conduct test drives and demonstrations where necessary; Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, adhering to company policies and safety standards; Train junior staff or team members on 4x4 products and fitment techniques as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the 4x4 industry, specifically in one or more of the following:
- 4x4 accessory sales and fitment
- Off-road vehicle modifications
- Suspension, tyres, and performance upgrades
- Technical advisory or workshop environment
- Must own a 4x4 vehicle (essential for demonstrations and personal engagement at events).
- Previous experience in 4x4 sales, fitment, or technical advisory roles.
- Solid technical knowledge of 4x4 vehicles, accessories, and modifications.
- Strong sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and attend events as required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proactive, hands-on, and enthusiastic about the 4x4/off-road lifestyle.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good administrative skills for quoting, invoicing, and stock management.
- Physically fit and able to handle tools and equipment.
