SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking the expertise of an SAP DevOps Consultant with a Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience, contract until December 2027, commencement 01 May 2025 (Gauteng based)

POSITION INFO:
Minimum of 2 years IT work experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an SAP Operations environment
Minimum 2 years’ experience in an SAP Logistics Modules (WM & EWM)

Essential Skills Requirements:
German Language – able to read/write and speak German – Essential
Incident Management (IM)
Change Management (CM)
Problem Management (PM)
IT Operations Process Controls

Good SAP System knowledge to support SAP Logistical Processes:
SAP S/4HANA system knowledge
SAP WM & EWM process knowledge

SAP ABAP Debugging
ITIL process knowledge and work experience (ITIL certification - advantageous)
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with Business Users.
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

What will be your role and responsibilities?
Close coordination with developers to make go lives safe and successful
Following up on incident tickets to make long term improvement
Actively making suggestions to reduce the number of problem tickets
Proactive improvements in daily IT operations
