We are looking for Wind Turbine Installation and Maintenance Engineers in Northern Cape
POSITION INFO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the installation and commissioning of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) equipment, including turbines, towers, and blades. Conduct initial system tests.
- Implement maintenance plans, conduct routine equipment checks and repairs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage project-related documentation including technical specifications, progress reports, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with company quality requirements and standards. Resolve identified quality issues through inspections and audits.
- Maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to resolve problems promptly.
Job Requirements:
- Must be familiar with the mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning process of wind turbines or energy storage field.
- Ought to independently guide the installation company in carrying out electrical and mechanical installation tasks.
- Must understand the quality control requirements for wind turbine installation and commissioning. Should be able to identify non-compliance and push for improvements.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in wind power or energy storage project sites. Preference for those with wind turbine experience or international work experience.
