SUMMARY:
DUR002225 - Project Manager – Packhouse Development (Mozambique)

Purpose of the Job:
To oversee the development and establishment of a new Packhouse in Massingir, Mozambique. The successful candidate will manage the construction project in 2025, with the opportunity to transition into the Packhouse Manager role upon completion

Required Qualifications:

Strong experience in Packhouse management; practical experience
Engineering or related qualification preferred if involved in the construction and installation phases.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Project management of Packhouse construction, targeting operational status by 2026.
Oversee operations including pre-harvest preparation, the harvest season, and post-harvest maintenance.
Collaborate on quality control for scouting, spraying, and production to optimize Packhouse output.

Preferred Competencies:

Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to lead diverse teams and adapt to Mozambique’s unique work environment.
Willingness to be based in Massingir and actively engage in Packhouse and agricultural operations
