Our client is seeking an accomplished PRODUCTION MANAGER for a high-profile citrus farm in a leading fruit-producing region of the Western Cape. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of an extensive and rapidly growing operation.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Production Manager, you will report directly to the owner and assume comprehensive responsibility for:

• Leading Production Operations: Oversee and enhance all aspects of production, including planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning, with a focus on maximizing efficiency and yield.
• Human Resources Management: Directly manage all human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, to build and maintain a high-performing team.
• Administrative Oversight: Handle critical administrative tasks, such as budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning, to ensure operational excellence and financial viability.
• Procurement and Supply Chain: Oversee procurement procedures to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of resources and equipment, optimizing the supply chain.
• Innovation and Technology: Investigate, recommend, and implement technological advancements and best practices to drive continuous improvement and competitive advantage in citrus production.
