Head of Investments - Best of Breed

POSITION INFO:

Lead the strategic direction from both a solution and business growth standpoint
Drive the development of the investment offering to maintain a competitive edge in the market
Ensure the achievement of positive asset flows, while overseeing the management of the Best of Breed capability
Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with advisors, including both exclusive agents and independent financial advisors
Possess a thorough understanding of investment platforms and the discretionary fund management market
Utilise experience in distribution to enhance business performance
Lead cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders effectively
Take full accountability for the profit, revenue, and asset growth within the business
Foster and strengthen relationships with industry leaders and key partners
Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Best of Breed offering, incorporating both internal solutions and customized partnerships to drive success

Skills & Experience:
Extensive business development expertise, with a deep understanding of the investment sector
Non-negotiable experience in asset management
Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with senior internal stakeholders and financial advisors or practice owners
At least 10 years of experience within the investment industry is required
Knowledge of offshore investments is advantageous
A professional and polished approach when engaging with both internal and external stakeholders

Qualification:
Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) or Business Science degree
Master of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Actuarial Science qualification is an advantage
