SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading healthcare company based in Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect to join their innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level architect to play a pivotal role in designing and shaping the future of healthcare technology solutions.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance healthcare software solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment between technical architecture and business goals.
Provide strategic direction on the adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Oversee the integration of complex systems and ensure seamless data flow across platforms in a healthcare environment.
Mentor and guide development teams, helping to elevate the technical capabilities of the organization.
Ensure that technical architecture is aligned with regulatory standards and best practices in the healthcare industry.

Skills and Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in technical architecture or senior software development roles.
Strong background in healthcare technology, understanding the unique challenges and regulatory requirements in the sector.
Expertise in cloud-based solutions, microservices, and distributed systems.
Proficiency in modern technologies and frameworks, such as Java, Angular, SQL databases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of software design principles, data security, and scalability.
Experience with integration of healthcare systems (e.g., EHR/EMR, HL7, and FHIR).
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
