RPG Developer Skills & Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science
  • Experience working with RPG as a developer
  • 5+ years of experience in RPG programming and design
  • Proficiency with RPG, SQL and RDi
  • Knowledge of programming practices and techniques, especially in designing, coding, testing and debugging applications, including the ability to write code that is efficient, easy to read and maintainable
  • Proven understanding of relational database concepts and principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
